Rihanna goes back to her rude girl ways getting raunchy as a scantily-clad carnival queen

Yesterday she showed off a toned-down look sporting a demure maxi dress, simple make-up and a relaxed hair style - a world away from her usual sexed-up style.

But it didn’t last long and earlier today Rihanna was dressed in a louder than life attire as she took part in a traditional Bajan festival.

The singer climbed aboard a float dressed in a cut away bra top and a pair of tiny red pants flaunting her fabulous figure as she celebrated Kadooment Day.

Carnival Queen: Rihanna was scantily clad in an elaborate carnival outfit as she took part in the Kadmooment Day parade in Barbados earlier today.

 

And while her scarlet locks may have gone the singer donned bright red feathers in her hair which added to the intricate embellishment on her costume.
Rihanna was certainly the star of the show and showed little inhibition as she played up to the crowds on the stage.

Ri-Ri was also seen blowing kisses to the crowd, supping on a drink and chatted with friends as she partied the day away.

And when the rain started to fall the singer didn't let the wet weather ruin her mood and took to running in the street and giggling with her pals.

The Grand Kadooment is the official finale celebration of the Crop Over Festival Season and Rihanna was taking part in the parade of Masquerade Bands.

In June it was announced that Rihanna was the official ambassador for her home country of Barbados.

The partnership was announced June 15, and although it appears she has been taking up her duties earlier today, her role will begin with the Loud Concert in Bridgetown on Friday.

Yesterday the Rated R singer was spotted rocking her natural brown hair on a shopping trip with a group of pals.

Wearing a multi-coloured maxi dress, Michael Kors sunglasses and carrying a Fendi handbag, Rihanna tried on jewellery at the Crown of Light store.

The Bajan beauty recently wrapped up the North American leg of her Loud tour and will perform in Barbados later this week.

Rihanna escapes to Barbados amid Chris Brown breakup rumours

It's hard to imagine a better time than spending the holidays hanging out with your best friend in sunny Barbados, which is probably exactly what Rihanna needs following rumours that she and Chris Brown have broken up for the second time.

The 24-year-old "Diamonds" singer was spotted at a luxurious beachfront villa in her home country on Wednesday, wearing a gold two-piece  Charlie by Matthew Zink bathing suit, enjoying the hot rays and a few drinks with a gal pal. Rihanna flew to Barbados on Tuesday night (she tweeted "My bed #takeoff" from the plane), where she traditionally spends the Christmas holidays. It was originally rumoured that her romantic interest Chris Brown would join her on the vacation, but now that it seems like the pair of singers have split, that's all up in the air.

Though it was never officially confirmed that RiRi and Breezy had rekindled their relationship, a series of photos on their social media feeds heavily suggested that they had become close again. But Christina Milian, a friend of Brown's ex, model Karrueche Tran, claimed this week that the rapper and Tran were still attached.

Before flying to Barbados on Tuesday, Rihanna tweeted a "RihCard" that showed an illustration of the singer beside the caption "Being single sucks. The only thing I get to do anymore is whatever the f--k I want to do." She also posted a photo of a handwritten letter to her fans on Instagram, saying "There's no question that life throws us curve balls, we do our best to deal with them, take the lessons, and keep it moving without regrets!"

Brown's Instagram account also hinted at their relationship, albeit briefly. The 23-year-old "Don't Judge Me" singer posted a photo to his Instragram account of him with Rihanna, cuddling and doing kissy-faces -- although he deleted it 15 minutes later.

Rihanna went on another whirlwind vacation through the Mediterranean this summer, where she met up with Brown while she was in St. Tropez. She also spent some time in Barbados in July to bury her beloved grandmother, who died from cancer in June.

When life is stressful, as it seems to have been for Rihanna this year, it helps to get away from all the drama and go home -- especially when that home has a tropical climate and is filled with friends and family. And especially after buying a multi-million-dollar mansion in California, and after receiving a brand new Porsche Turbo S from her management company, it seems like Rihanna will be having a merry Christmas, after all.

“Rihanna ain’t the type of b***h to go ahead and uninvite Chris to her Christmas party,” a source reveals to HollywoodLife.com.

The source also schooled us, informing us that Rihanna’s mother constantly asks about Chris because he’s incredibly close to the family.

“Her moms be asking about Chris and trying to see what’s up between them. Her mom’s always in her ear, cheering her up and giving her relationship advice all the time. I’m not all up in their [conversations,] but I know Monica, if nothing else, is someone Rihanna confides in, so she’s in good hands.”

As HollywoodLife.com reported earlier, Rihanna and company will have a fabulous Christmas, as the pop star rented out a $21.8 million beachfront penthouse in Barbados for her family and friends.

Among the guests who will lounge at the uber chic One Sandy Lane in Barbados will include Rihanna’s mother, Monica Braithwaite,  younger brother, Rajad, and rounding out the guest list will be her enormous entourage.

Back in 2011, the “Birthday Cake” girl was paid $2 million to perform at a party in Barbados hosted by Ashley Tabor, the British boss of Global Radio, whose father Michael Tabor owns One Sandy Lane.
